Lighting
It doesn't sound difficult, but an uneven light will cause an uneven burn throughout the smoke. In order to light properly, get your favorite LVCC cigar, and cut the end off. While holding the fire to the end of the cigar, be sure the tip of the flame is even with the center of the cigar, and gently roll the cigar in your mouth with each puff. Make sure that the end of the cigar is completely lit. Any unlit portion will create a "canoe" effect and could eventually cause the wrapper to unravel. Keep rotating the cigar in your mouth to keep the burn even.
